2-3's Combo ClassEarly Childhood Family EducationBeing a two or three year old is a very unique time in your child’s life. Language development is emerging, social skills are developing and physical and cognitive changes occur rapidly. The class will have parent/ child interaction time followed by a parent only discussion time lead by a Parent Educator. Children remain in the classroom to experience learning activities, such as sensory exploration, dramatic play, large and small muscle experiences, in addition to storytelling, music and other literacy-rich activities under the guidance of an Early Childhood Teacher. Building Emotional Intelligence (3-5 yrs) SeparatingEarly Childhood Family Education"Building Emotional Intelligence" is a specialized parent-child class designed to foster social-emotional learning in children aged 0 to 5, while equipping parents and caregivers with the tools and knowledge to support their child's emotional development during these critical early years. Through age-appropriate activities, games, songs, and guided discussions, "Building Emotional Intelligence" provides a foundation for parents and caregivers to understand the importance of social-emotional development in their child's overall well-being. Key topics covered in the class include recognizing and labeling emotions, promoting self-regulation skills, fostering empathy and understanding, enhancing communication with young children, and creating a secure and nurturing environment for emotional exploration. Additionally, parents and caregivers will receive guidance on managing common emotional challenges in early childhood, such as tantrums, separation anxiety, and transitions.ECFE Fall Semester 2026-2027
